Job Description
The Role:
The Team Leader - Inbound at Australian Defence Apparel Pty Ltd is responsible for overseeing the inbound logistics for domestic and international deliveries. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage a team effectively while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily inbound operations, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of goods.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff in the inbound department to achieve performance targets.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inbound logistics and report on progress regularly.
Conduct regular training sessions for team members on safety protocols, operational procedures, and system usage.
Troubleshoot any issues relating to inbound shipments or discrepancies in records.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding health, safety, and quality standards.
This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain operations while fostering a positive work environment that encourages team collaboration. Experience working within the defence or clothing manufacturing sectors is preferred
A nationally coordinated police check will be required for the successful applicant.
